Gallery B. and Annex Arts are welcoming several artists-in-residence for the month of June. Artist, Curator, and Arts Organizer, Tessa Greene O’Brien, will be in residence for the month of June. During this time she has invited several artists to join her in residence, artists who will also be included in exhibitions hosted by Gallery B: Strawberry Moon, Familiars, and Being Here.

for its second show, “Les Canadiennes,” an exhibition and artist residency of Canadian artists. Expect to see them out and about the Blue Hill Peninsula with their paints.
Opening on Canada Day, July 1, “Les Canadiennes” will host the work of seven artists and also several of the artists themselves - Nancy Friedland, Drew Klassen, Mara Korkola, Shelley Mansel, Sara MacCulloch, Chrissy Nickerson, Johanna Reynolds.
Most of the artists have exhibited with gallery b., are past fellows of the Annex Arts Residency Program, and seek to deepen their relationship with local landscapes and people. Beginning this week through July 10, four of the artists will be working in the Annex studio and gallery space before and throughout the exhibition.
“Les Canadiennes” is on view from July 1 to July 17, 2023. The opening reception takes place on Canada Day, July 1, 5-7pm at both The Annex and gallery b.
OPEN STUDIOS
Open Studio days include Wednesday, June 28 with Sara MacCulloch and Mara Korkola and Saturday, July 8, with Shelley Mansel and Chrissy Nickerson. Artists will also be working out in the field during their stay on the Blue Hill Peninsula.
