WORKSHOP: MAKING THINGS MATTER
Similar to a quilting circle or a knitting group, this ‘clay circle’ will be an informal making session open to the public. Lauren will provide clay and tools, a handmade snack, and will invite people to sit with her and move their hands.
Conversation is welcome and open-ended; the idea is to be with each other while we make things, letting the words and time unfold. The process is more important than the outcome.
At the end, Lauren will encourage participants to let their creations disintegrate in their own outdoor environments, letting go of the final object and savoring the journey and the company and the snacks!
This workshop is limited to 10 participants.
