2020 Programming
Dear Friends of Annex Arts,
After a vibrant summer in 2019, filled with artist residencies, openings, receptions, exhibitions, workshops and readings, Annex Arts was looking forward to even more ambitious public programming in 2020.
Our new reality is shaped by COVID-19 and these public programs cannot take place as planned. But the arts are now more essential than ever, and we will continue our mission of supporting the arts and our community this year.
We are therefore thrilled to announce a new set of safe social distance programming focused on storytelling, the power of the written word, and community interaction (from a safe distance, of course!). You will soon be receiving more information about our new initiatives.
We will miss the incredible roster of residents lined up for this summer and the gifts they would have brought to our community. Happily, they all hope to return for the 2021 season if everything colludes to make that possible.
We hope that each and every one of you is well and remains so.
As ever,
Goody-B. Wiseman
Director, Annex Arts
*Our continued programming and new literary initiatives have been made possible by generous donations from people like you and support from the Maine Community Foundation and Humanitas. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
